Even though my kids are ALWAYS around me, I keep their pictures on my desk with a picture of Adam. I then look around my office which is my formal living room and realize that I am HOME, my office isn't a 10 ft cubicle that I have to share with someone and that I can take a break when I need to for tea parties, setting up living room forts, etc. This is what I want and the rewards are priceless.

I look at my parents who worked so hard all their lives and now are on hospice and struggling to pay for home care to just "stay" in their home because financially they are strapped at ages 89 and 92. They gave everything to myself and my siblings, so I never knew we were poor.....but I realize now that they were never able to travel, take vacations or do things for themselves, .
THAT MOTIVATES me every day to pick up the phone, so that I will be financially free some day and can do things with my children. I am blessed now to be able to "give back" to my parents and help them out. The way I get motivated is seeing how hard my husband works every day out in the heat and it gives me the energy and motivation to make just 5 more calls closer to bringing him home. Also I think about not having a boss looking over my shoulder and that is enough motivation in itself!
